Faculty and Staff Meeting
With a gentle breeze in September, the first staff meeting of the first semester of the 2022-2023 academic year in the west campus of Anqing Foreign Language School was held in the school lecture hall, which was presided over by Principal Assistant Chen Peifeng and attended by all teachers.
First of all, on behalf of the school leaders, Principal Assistant Chen Peifeng expressed his high praise to the teachers who were still actively engaged in the work of the school during the summer holiday, who resisted the heat, and stuck to their jobs regardless of the gains and losses. It is because Anqing Foreign Language School has such a group of conscientious and dedicated colleagues  that the dedication of our work can be smoothly promoted and only by constantly improving our ability and quality in a practical way can we finally achieve our goals. Later on, Principal Assistant Chen Peifent announced the list of 30 teachers who had won the ‘Themed Class Meeting’ teaching design awards, which fully affirmed their good learning style of constantly learning and recharging during the holidays. Second of all, Principal Assistant Chen Peifeng led everyone to conduct a special study on ‘Standardizing Education and Teaching Behavior’, for our school has always attached great significance to the cultivation of teachers' ethics and style. What’s more, in this special study, he put forward higher and more comprehensive requirements for teachers in terms of teachers' thoughts and behavior, teaching behavior, interpersonal behavior, appearance behavior, language behavior and moral behavior. Principal Assistant Chen Peifeng hoped that Anqing Foreign Language School’s teachers would bear in mind their responsibilities, fulfill their mission, love their work, impart knowledge and educate people. While devoting their efforts, sweat and wisdom to cultivate students, teachers enjoy the glory of the profession, gain the spiritual pursuit and reflect the value of life.
After the meeting, the teachers had a deeper understanding of strengthening the construction of teachers' ethics and style with virtue in heart and virtue in practice. They expressed that they would keep in mind the original mission, strengthen the bottom line awareness, abide by the norms of teacher ethics, improve professional quality, and contribute to the high quality development of the school!
